Advocacy

Let There Be Light International advocates for global policies and action to fight poverty and climate change through safe, sustainable solar programming. We are a committed signatory of several energy compacts and work with networks and organizations such as Catalyst 2030, the United Nations NGO Major Group and America is All In to collaborate with others in the fight for a more just, healthy, and sustainable world.

Volunteer Opportunities

At Let There Be Light International, we understand that everyone has a unique schedule. That’s why our volunteer positions are designed to be flexible, allowing you to contribute at your own pace. Whether you’re organizing special events, maintaining donor relationships, or assessing our impact, there’s a role that perfectly suits your skills and availability. We value the passion and dedication of individuals who are determined to make a positive impact, and we invite you to volunteer with us at our headquarters, in your local community, or even in one of our target communities in Africa, working alongside our local partners. Your involvement will help us to shine on!

Host Your Own Event

If you are in the USA, we can provide you with materials to host an awesome get-together! All you need are some friends and you’ve got yourself a party. Wine tasting, weekend movie matinee, game night? Party in a Box is a great way to fight Climate Change and support solar programming with your friends. (If you’re outside the USA, we are unable to ship PIAB but can advise you on how you can create your own materials).
